Located in East Derry, New Hampshire, Adams Female Academy opened as a private school in 1824. The first in the United States to present diplomas to women. These murals though not signed by Porter, clearly illustrate all of his style and techniques. These recently uncovered murals were not available at the time of Lipman's research.
